I stayed in Hotel Pavilion, Mussoorie in June 2018. It is a miserable hotel with three times overpricing. A few of terrible things observed: a) Broken and leaking WC and taps in wash rooms b) Filthy washroom with smell c) Fused light fittings in room and insufficient lighting d) extremely poor maintenance and room service e) Room in parking area and hereby no privacy f) In sufficient space in room Avoid booking this hotel. Trust this will help.

This is how Makemytrip make you pay and bribe you for keeping silent

Amazing the world is! Good- centre of mall road but what the heck Bad- 1. Misserable parking 2. Rooms are very short ,no balcony 3. Facility in deluxe room- never book room for more than two here, you can't even fit a baby 4. No almirah to keep anything 5. TV is there but no cable connection, the guy will bring the cable bad later 6. The fan has no switch on and off, broken wires 7. The bathroom had terrible looks, seats are dirty and bucket is broken. Had to get it replaced 8. There is no cleaning, had to get it done at 12 am before the bed could be made 9. The foot tray was dirty and used up with all food in that of earlier serving. The list is long and the price is exceptionally high for the room Called up MakeMyTrip and they promised a lot on phone but cut the sorry face as they informed that only hotels give the pics and they are not aware of anything. They promised me to give 3000 rupees coupon as a reward (bribe) for staying in deluxe room for some 6500 +GST nonrefundable and actually getting cheated. Wish these companies like MakeMyTrip makes a check and doesnot remain unaware of such blatant misdeeds. Bribe of RS 3000/- doesn't work, remember. The advise is to ignore both this hotel and MakeMyTrip as far as possible till they make amends and becomes more ethical.

Worst hotel in whole of Mussoorie!!!! Horrible exprerience

We booked this hotel from makemytrip as all other better hotels were already booked. We made the booking just 2 days before visiting Mussoorie so we got the rates hugely overpriced as well. They charged 6000 plus for premium room. This was a bit difficult to digest as the rooms did not have any AC/ tea coffee maker/ water bottles. They have been ranked higher on basis of location..but the truth is that you have to climb down a lot of stairs to reach the hotel and again climb up to reach the mall road..The hotel board is not even easily visible from the main road. Outside pic of the hotel is misleading as the whole area which they are showing outside of reception is occupied by a very mismanaged parking. The condition of rooms was very bad...the furniture was old and dirty. The worst part was their bathrooms where even the flush was not working properly. The bathroom was not even cleaned up properly before handling the rooms over to us. We had booked two rooms and in one of the rooms there was no mug. In the other rooms the bucket and mug were so dirty that it looked like those were never cleaned. We had to repeatedly ask them to provide clean bucket and mugs. I have never seen such careless management and such irresponsible staff. At the reception the guy sitting does not know how to talk properly. I am just wondering if this was the standard and facilities of premium rooms of the hotel which are the costliest then what would have been the condition of deluxe/standard rooms!!!! But the worse part is yet to come...We were planning to go for sight seeing after some refreshment at the hotel but they screwed up the parking. They got other vehicles parked in front of our car and all those people had already left. They neither took their keys nor asked them to leave the handbrakes. So we were not able to use our car on that day and had to spend time around the mall road only. While strolling at the mall road we just tried a couple of hotels where we saw there was vacancy and those hotels were much much better than this horrible hotel with less than half the price...It was just that these hotels were either not ranked higher by people in travel sights or they had not enrolled in any website....Overall I can guarantee that at half the price that we paid for this hotel you can find much better hotel to stay in Mussoorie. These people are just looting away people's money and providing horrible service and zero facilities. This was my worst experience ever of staying in any hotel!!!! Trust me and stay away from this hotel as far as you can if you don't want to spoil your vacation!!

Do no book standard rooms

Visited hotel pavilion for 2 nights with friends in Nov 2016. Avoid this place if you have an option. Standard rooms are extremely cheap but is a total disappointment. There were cockroaches, cobwebs n extremely dirty dusty furniture. The premium rooms are better. In Mussoorie after 6pm the road is blocked till 10pm for cars. We had to leave our car n walk up to this hotel 15 mins with all luggage all by ourselves - no room boy service or pick up was provided by the hotel on requesting.i think local Rick was the only option to go to hotel.we could have been informed about this earlier to avoid inconvenience. Premium rooms - the ones with a double bed n a single bed are much better maintained n hv a good view but even here the bathrooms weren't clean. In the morning water wasn't coming from any of the taps in all the three standard rooms that we booked which was resolved after half hr. Overall not so nice experience won't recommend this hotel to anyone.
